As someone mentioned in another thread - "high up in the rafters" GC had the above mentioned Adamas at a "clearance" price of $1499. The number 85 was written next to the model number - not sure if it's the serial number or not. I didn't see any flaws or dings and hardly any wear.

Is the price good? bad?

"85" would be the inherent frequency of the guitar.

It's probably on "clearance" because nobody wants t'go high up t'dust it . . .

Doesn't sound like a bad price.

I think that may be the high price ... Mine was about 950 if I remember right. It is really worth what ever you are willing to pay for it. You can always offer them a lower price. If I were looking for one, and it was in good condition, I'd offer them 1000.

Unless it is one of the new RI's. Then at $1500 it would be a nice grab.

Find one of the more pliable GC employess, and start working "down" from $850. :D

If you found an 1581 RI for $1495. you should buy it. That's a hell of a deal. Dave

I'm pretty sure it's not the RI - according to the Adamas website, that model number is 1581-5.

Although it's not the RI, if it's in good condition, it's good to buy.

You always can negotiate about price to GC.

Any pic?
