This is the first time I've ever seen a Patriot like this. Did they do this kinda stuff once in a while, or is this a custom order?

It's either a new fingerboard or the original inlays have been replaced, if so there could be a lot of filler in there which could look pretty nasty up close. Personally I think those inlays are hideous.

They are a little unsightly. Plus the fingerboard looks like it hasn't been cleaned for some time.
