Joined: June 2006 Posts: 7307 Location: South of most, North of few | Well, the new arrival just showed up today, and it is nicer than I thought it would be. :D I see now what all the hubub is about the Adamas. :D What a solid feeling and great sounding instrument! :D I had to do a small neck adjustment to bring the action down just a smidge, but WOW, what a nice piece! :D Makes a nice partner to the 1718. Actually, two of those are already sold and going away soon, and the 1718 will probably end up on ebay after I do an A/B comp with the 1537 I have coming. That will pare it down a bit. Trouble is I'm already thinking about a custom Adamas, or a 6-string Koa to match the 12, or... :eek: | ||

Joined: March 2006 Posts: 1634 Location: Chehalis, Washington | That's how I got mine last year. My 1881 was a "tax-time" result, which turned out to be a blessing in many ways. Now I've built up enough of a collection that I'm playing around with in and out to get the "best" ones. | ||
