I know what al posted originally about the Fall, but did I miss a reason why it never happened? I'm not surprised it never came to pass but was there ever an official reason? And is there a possibility that there will be another one in the future?
I realise I may have been asleep and missed this.

My understanding is that the factory is just too busy with all the rennovations involved with Guild. It was obviously a pretty huge undertaking. Dave

Sounds reasonable.
I just needed to know if cliff was to blame.

I thought maybe bringing the trebuchet last time iced it.

Before all speculation begins...

In the past, they (the fine folks in New Harford, CT) invite us. There was talk, that if things "settled down" they might extend the invitation this fall. They haven't as of yet. I think it's safe (in the case) to assume that things "haven't settled down" yet. I'm reasonably sure that "considering it" is on Fender's to-do list, but I'm also pretty sure that building and selling guitars, and doing all the things involved with merging a few not-so-small companies, is job #1.

We will wait patiently and hopefully. Until then... BUY MORE GUITARS!!!! Especially from Al. Unless you want/need a fantastic 1768 Elite LTD "The Book" Guitar then you should buy mine. :)

Miles, that was ultimately a cheap sales pitch man! But I did look. Great guitar, will be in the market for a good wood top 12 soon, sure hope I can find something as nice as that.

Great guitar Miles. I really would like to end up with a 12 string, as nice as this one, soon, myself.
........so............
If anyone happens to be in the market to sell a nice 12 string, I am not sure what I ultimately want, I do need a cutaway but I am not so sure I have to have a deep or contour bowl, everything I will be doing will be plugged in so the shallow bowls are OK.
There..desperate times, and all..............

Not sure if I can tie in the 2008 Factory Tour into this thread as well as you Miles but..........ohhh.never mind.... I see I did! There you have it, another perfect post.
:D
