Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado | Just had an interesting (at least to me) Ovation sighting. VH1 Classic was showing a Journey concert recorded in Houston in the 80s. The bass player was using a Magnum II.
And, just for the record, why was I born with Steve Perry's voice??

What I meant to say was: Why wasn't I born with Steve Perry's voice.. |

Cc - could be worse. You could sound like Fred Perry... (British tennis player from the 1930's, not noted for his singing...)

Wait! Just had a quick Google. It was the NAME not the voice that had me thinking CPD was the 'other' Steve Perrys new project. We need more parents with Frank Zappas sense of imagination... |

Location: big island | yeah, mitz, i agree on the randy jackson in multi-colored spandex. i have the video collection entirely for the musical memories, not necessarily the visual ones.
i also have squirrel nut zipper music, however, i actually got more pleasure from eating the squirrel nut zipper candy when i was an adolescent. about two years ago i found some online through a nostalgic snacks company. they just did not taste the same as i remember. i don't know if the recipe has changed or my aging tastebuds hindered the experience. |
