Give me one kiss and I'll be happy... Just....Just to be with you
Give me...give me.. the chance to be near you
Because,,,,, because I, I love you
BrianT & I thought it was done by the Dave Clark Five but I think we're wrong there.
Yep... Brian & I continue to venture where wise men fear to tread. |

Location: Marlton, NJ | You are correct Brad... Dave Clark Five:
BECAUSE
(Dave Clark)
It's right that I should care about you
And try to make you happy when you're blue
It's right, it's right to feel the way I do
Because, because I love you
It's wrong to say I don't think of you
'Cause when you say these things
You know it makes me blue
Give me one kiss and I'll be happy
Just, just to be with you
Give me, give me, a chance to be near you
Because, because I love you
------ organ solo ------
Give me one kiss and I'll be happy
Just, just to be with you
Give me, give me, a chance to be near you
Because, because I love you
Because, because I love you |

Back in High School, I mistook this song for The Beatles. The late John Lennon's son, Julian also recorded this song, and it's actually worth listening to IMO. |

Location: NJ | In the Geoff Emerick book I just finished reading, he relates to at time when he got called in to "fix" a track that had been done by another engineer.
As they were listening to it, Lennon rails at him, saying ". . d'year th'drums??? . . he's got Ringo sounding like fookin' Dave Clark!!! . ." |
