Joined: January 2005 Posts: 4903 Location: Phoenix AZ | I dusted off this ukulele tune from last years OFC CD. From both Standingovation and I, here's wishing all the best to our OFC brothers and sisters, our friends in various corners of the world, our soldiers overseas, and a special thought for those lost loved ones who no longer join us in this happy season. All the best ... LINUS & UKEY

But this tune (done very well I might add), brings back much happier times from long ago, when the family used to watch "charlie brown's christmas". and a special thought for those lost loved ones who no longer join us in this happy season. Here's wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you all are with the ones who mean the most to you!

Back in the 80's I worked with a Christian Ministry (Carnival?) setting-up a humongous Revival Tent. (280'x140'x44'). Mike the Music Leader, played electric piano/synthesiser. As soon as we got the stage put up, and the juice plugged-in, he would start out with that jam, extended version, hours-long. Always liked it. The more I hear the uke, the more intrigued I am.

Of course, nothing compliments an ukulele like guitar so bring one of those too. As we say in Hawaii, "Hana Hou", which means play it again. That's a Standingovation local style! Right On Braddah!
