Joined: September 2008 Posts: 3 Location: USA | Hello everyone. I have a late 1981 or early 1982 Ovation Adamas II. The paper label says model 1691-8. I have not been able to find any information about what exactly a 1691 model is. I can only find information on the 1681. Can anyone help. Do you know the specs of a 1691. Thanks

If it's a deepbowl, non-cutaway, blueburst Adamas 2 with electronics, then it's a 1681-8. Only other thing I can think of is at that time the Adamas 2 was available to special order in a 1 7/8ths wide-neck version. Not sure what model number was applied to a wide-neck AD11. Anyone? Post a few more pics.
