Location: GA USA		The first real guitar I bought for myself was an American Standard Strat and I wish I still had it. But I agree on the trem. I've had the one American and two Squiers and you might as well leave the whammy bar off the guitar.

But look at the Crossroads Guitar Festival. The whole thing is one long Strat commercial.

Location: new jersey		uhhh dave, i thought they were supposed to be affordable.
anyways, floyd and ovation go way back. heck, dogs was recorded with an ovation.
