Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | Hi Folks,
Al and I have talked about putting together a CD of music by the members of the Fan Club. We have not ironed out all of the details yet, but I thought I would let everyone know it's in the works and I'd like to see it available for this coming Fall season.
I'm also hoping to have a contest to name the CD and also hope that someone or someones from the Fanclub could lend artistic talents to the cover. Baron Audio will be producing and mastering the CD and will also be available for studio time for those that need it.
The rules and such will be posted shortly, but in the meantime, please post your interest, naming thoughts etc...
We have some outstanding musicians amoung us so this should be a great CD.
Here is the current "short list" of rules. The full list with appropriate legal info will be coming soon, but I wanted to get the word out.
[list]
[*] The goal is to feature Ovation instruments playing as many styles of music as possible on a CD.
[*] Submissions must be original or copyright held by the person(s) submitting the tune.

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | I preferred medium would be a DAT already mastered, but I can take just about anything.
Thanks for pointing out this omittion on the information.. I updated the info with
"The preferred media for submitting entries is DAT. However, a backup of the .wav file on CD, a standard CD (or CDR/CDRW), cassette, or ADAT are all acceptable media."
