Was it that bad, Al?

Did they do anything "trick with the soundhole(s) or is it just a regular looking guitar with a graphite top?

Regardless, no doubt the ^%#@^&$@% magazines will give it a higher billing than the new Elite in their NAMM reviews.

the guitar made no sense. a wood bodied guitar with a graphite top. Center sound hole, it is hard to judge guitars acoustically at the namm show but from what I could hear it was rather thin sounding. the top was rough and the rest of the guitar was finished in gray satin runny carpet staining dog spoo. I heard people remark that it was cool martin was trying alternative materials????? Just do what you do best is my opinion. buy one now it will be a collector's item I am sure.

It'd make a nice bookend with the machined aluminum top one I saw last night at Guitar Center.

Is this the "War of the Worlds"

The Marti(a)ns have landed, and their "saucer" appears to have a graphitelike top of an inferior technological capability. Our fears of a superior life form appear to be overblown, and the O force should have them subdued shortly. It now is obvious that their technology is based on ancient wood forms and adapt poorly to the our modern world. Needless to say, the expected panic failed to materialize. The Marti(a)ns are a weird and ancient life form and are most confortable with their planets only musical instrument, that when plucked issues an irritating dissonance, they call it a BANJO.

None of us will want to go there very soon!!

If they're anything like the Tim Burton movie, if they're exposed to "yodelling" music their heads will EXPLODE!. . . . .

I think you are the first to mention yodelling on this board. This may lead to another bunch of degenerate comments, but I won't be the first to start. Yodelling is good, yodelling is OK, especially on another planet. Riders in The Sky forgive me, can I submit a yodelling song for the CD, I'm thinking Bavarian. Hi dee ol lady hoo hoo hoo hoo, no Dolly, go back to bed , I wasn,t calling you. Does anybody make finger cuffs, I've got to control these urges? It's your fault.
