I'm gonna look at that guitar tomorrow morning and see where the bidding is. I might place a bid up to about $400 and just see where it goes. If I get it, cool. If not, cool. I thing the guitar will go for more than $500.

Sounds like you got a good deal Norseman1. Great posts here.. laughing/smiling as I read them. I to have taken the sudden turn at Impulsivity and have been on the receiving end of much "flack" as a result. The flack, however, fades and disappears. But, the music lives on forever!

Moodypi - caught your post about ebay Anon. Brought to mind an ebay parody site I visited called "Egad" - "Your Personal Fleecing Community"

Good for a laugh!

Enjoy your Balladeer!

I let the 12 string Preacher Deluxe go even tho' it went for under $400. Other things need to have money thrown at them right now. When the time is right, the right guitar will make itself available. To quote Tolkien, "The road goes ever on and on, down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the road has gone and I must follow if I can.... "

Boy, am I pathetic or what? And to think, I chastized Gizz for going off subject. I gotta go sit in the corner, then get a life.

"The road goes ever on and on..." I predict that you will meet a troll holding an ancient Preacher 12 string deluxe some morning just as the sun comes up (the troll will be trying to figure out a C Chord and not notice the time). He will turn to stone and you will find yourself with a totally unique lawn ornament and your Preacher deluxe. Or maybe not.

Our troubles pale as we contemplate the possible fate of those 9 Pennsylvania miners if the rescue hadn't went so well. It has to be the happy story of the year!! :D :D
