Hey, I know a few guys were looking for 12 strings. Here is a Glen Campbell 1614-4 lookin pretty good on e-bay NO BIDS, but set at 350.00.

Check it out, but only four hours left (2:00p.m.Central time):

Any impulsive takers?!

First of all a 1614 cannot be a 12 string and secondly they are advertising a 1615 in the e-bay ad as a Glen campbell 12 string..This is a pacemaker model not a GC model..Be carefull if you plan to bid..

Well, it's definitely a 12 string if that is a picture of it. The auction was closed at $350 when I just looked. Is seller beating a hasty retreat, maybe he thinks all Ovations are GC's?

That does happen and it happened to me once, I was looking for a 1127/1627 and this guy says "I have a Glen Campbell model" We proceded with the deal until he showed up with a production Elite model. His responce then was "Doesn't Glen play this one?"

Glen Campbell played the first Elite prototype for a number of years and then switched to the 87 Collectors which was described as a "Super" Elite.

Always an education to be had here... I'm not up on the acoustics.. I know he played a Blue Breadwinner and it's all a blur after that...

Glen played many of them over the years, but when you're looking for the GC model and you get that, well......
It was his neck where the guitar was supposed to go? Oh well, I got that one wrong too.
