DON'T lend it out to ANY one what so ever. Just think of it like loaning your lawn mower to your neighbor and he puts gas in the oil, and oil in the gas and don't ever bring it back. And keep it on a stand if you can, and clean the strings off when you're thru with it, will extend life a bit longer. Don't forget to take a couple of extra sets with you. Cut off the excess , or roll 'em neatly at the head so's not to scratch it. And most of all, common sense.... Enjoy it, and may it last you a long time  my $.o2 cents for all its worth... ------------------------------------------------ web pageMy puppy Gizz

They need to get back to the guitar method discipline before they are lost. We can discuss this disturbing trend over candle light and champagne some time, they seem rather juvenile. Bailey (Rico y Suave) I know candle light and champagne works cause next month is our 45th anniversary, and we always dine out whenever we can. The tudor design, the comfy furnature, game room... just missing the bunnies, the pools, the limos, the weather and of course Hef. I even have an outstanding sound system and a mirror ball. Of course Hef does have over 100 great Acoustic and Electric guitars and 20 or so amps to choose from, 50 or so mics, half dozen keyboards, nor a 24 track digital recording platform. So Hef and I...we're even? They say "the one who dies with the most toys wins.", but I think the type of toy should count, in which case I think Hef wins. Drats.... Is yours one of the models with a "trapdoor" battery compartment, or the "click-in" battery holder? If it's the first, you have to push down on the battery and shut the little sliding door. It's spring loaded down there. If it's the other...?

Hef will win, he will show up at your party in tight jeans, with a flag motif collectors Ovation, sing Toby Keith's song and, trailing $20 bills, like the Pied Piper will lead the Bimbos to the mansion and write an article about tolerance for aging guitar players. (all this is done by highly paid stand ins who haul his Howard Hughes type body from challange to challange). Go play your guitars. I was almost run over by Hugh Hefner and Barbie Benton at a Buick exposition at the Beverly Hills Hilton in the 70's, I was there for a Siemens X-ray spectrograpic seminar on company expense, he was there making his fortune and molesting young girls, (I think Barbie was about 16). The experience led me to get bombed in the Hilton bar and forget all the good information from the seminar, fortunately I had written it down and didn't lose my job. But I learned that the Hefners win if you let them, the secret is don't let them. Lets go back to making music. Bailey

I got it in almost all the way, and it got stuck. I had a tough time getting it out. A second battery only went in part way before getting stuck. I tried Rayovac and Duracell. Finally went to Mar's and picked up a two pack of Danelectro's, which fit just fine. How long do batteries usually last?

Then, a light, (dimly lit) came on. (without the champagne..heh) Brothas and sistas.. I feel a song a comin' "Toys, Bims, Bombs, Kabong" And a one and a two ...
