I have been searching for a 1/2-size classical Ovation guitar. Smallest I could find was the Applause AN13, a 3/4-size. Tonight I found an Applause AN12 on eBay, but the seller says it's a 3/4 -- isn't an AN12 a 1/2?

Thanks for any information.

according to my latest Kaman catalog the an 13 is a 3/4 size nylon guitar
there are no half size nylon string guitars listed.
aa 12 is a 1/2 size steel string

Good morning, Al. Thanks for the answer. OGL1 and I did some extensive google searches and came up with some hits on the AN12, a few of which referred to it as a 3/4 and some as a 1/2. However, the definitive answer seems to be at AN12 AN13 Pictures . This site has a photo of both guitars alongside an AA12 and an AA13. Although it seems the creator of the page labeled the 12's backward, it is still fairly apparent that the 12's are 1/2 size.

Now that I know for sure, I MUST HAVE ONE!!!

Thanks again, Al. :D

Well, Al, looks like you were right. I emailed the folks at the website showing the 4 little guitars, asking if they were in stock and what the price was. Reply -- no longer made, none in stock and they are taking it off their site.

Buuuuuuummmmmmmmeeeeerrrrrrrrr. :(
