Location: Phoenix AZ | It's pretty dry here in Arizona so I have to keep my Ovations well humidified. What do you think is the best kind of individual humidifier? I have tried the Damp-IT tube sponge thing (the only thing that fits multi holed O's), Planet Waves sound hole insert type, and Humidistat clay thing that goes in your case. Would you recommend putting a Damp-IT inside Electric Storms or could this damage the electronics. Would appreciate any comments. Dave |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Paul, I read all the threads and some good info here. Do you think a damp-it tube would damage an electric guitar? Dave |

Location: Scotland | The only way to use a dampt-it with a solidbody is to put it in the accessory box in your guitar case. They should be moist but not dripping-wet,
The problem with these things is knowing if it's doing too little or too much.

Location: NJ | PlanetWaves just came out with (@$45-I think) this little digital temp/humidity meter that you can preset your hi/lo (and I guess it'll "alarm").
I think it even records a history of the variations. |
