Location: Scotland | It's been noted a couple of times that ball-end strings for Ovation mandolins can be difficult to find, especially outside of the US. I tried to stock up on Adamas mando strings at the only dealer in the UK that regularly has them to be told they couldn't get them any more as the UK distributor had stopped importing them. I emailed Andy Schlosser at Ovation's international sales division who confirmed this. Then, about a week later half a dozen sets came in the post, free of charge. Now that's service!

If you are interested in more, in about 5 hrs the auction is up on these Mando strings .
I've been watching them myself and if they don't go out-of-site may bid if you don't want them.
(Lemme' know if you can) :D Oldan
[Update...these guys don't sell outside the US and won't take bids from outside  ]

Location: Scotland | Thanks for the tip. Most sellers who state US only will ship anywhere if you ask nicely enough before bidding. These guys are obviously xenophobes.
