| I lurked here about 2 weeks ago and saw a post about the recommended polish to use on the guitars. Changing my profile selection to 60 days did NOT expand the displayed posts beyond 30 days, even after reloading. Seeing several posts recommending a 'search' of the posts for needed info., I tried unsuccessfully to find a 'search' function on this site. Since neither approach worked as hoped, will the group forgive me for asking the question again - which polish is recommended for the guitar face? I have already been told that lemon oil is preferred for the bridge, fingerboard and neck (Col. Ed. 2002-AC). On an O.T. question, I have not found ANY info. on the OP-40 preamp's functions/features compared to the std. OP-40 and rumored OP-50. Two e-mails to Ovation cust. sup. resulted in NO response - disappointedly not very supportive. Any help from anyone out there is greatly appreciated. |

I just did a search on "polish" and got a few posts.
The most predominant one (and I remember as it was going on) was started on May 17th.
The basic gist: Dunlop 65 comes highly recommended. |

| Thank you so much. It's funny - I was up in that corner twice trying to change my profile and never saw that 'search' title. Re: the polish - thank you for the info. Now that I see it written, that is the one I remember seeing. |

Location: puerto vallarta, mexico | don't feel bad donald. i posted several times saying what a great research tool a search feature would be until someone replied that it had been there all along.
have you tried the free guitar strings feature yet? it's right next to the free concert tickets button on alpeps link. thanks al, you're a very generous guy. sorry dad, i couldn't resist. |
