Joined: August 2002 Location: Everett, Wa | Hey all, Was watching an Austin City Limits show from the mid 80's and saw Randy playing (more holding and rubbing actually) a deep bowl, 15 holer with a natural finsh and laminated neck. I'm new around here so can't say exactly what model it was. Anyhow, I hadn't seen his name mentioned around here and folks seem to enjoy these sightings....

Things like perky Katy Couric naked with her Celebrity mandocello could frighten us all, Madonna with any Ovation is intellectually wrong but maybe a blonde T-head could be conceived by some. Fox news centerfolds would provide many possibilities, Dolly taking a Viper to her bosom a la Cleopatra takes Sheakespeare to a new low, but I'll do it. Bailey

By no means recent footage, it was in the video they did for that song some 12 years ago, towards the end of hair-band mania :D

I believe it was Frank Hannon because they were without Tommy Skeoch and were a one guitar band that tour. Of course, it could've been the other way around

Somewhere in some posts there was a discussion of classic guitar pickups that mentioned Willy's pickup in his Martin. I think it was a Baldwin piano pickup adapted for a guitar. Somewhere between a Bloody Mary Morning and Whisky River, I , like russ, saw Wynona Ryder playing my Viper in the mirror, when I woke up this morning, she and my Viper were gone and 5 lawyers were setting in my living room with offers to settle out of court.

Willie's guitar got busted up in about 1970 and he had the pickup put in a Martin N-20 classical that he bought sight unseen. He's played that guitar ever since.

I wonder if Jerry Reed was playing his on the Good Time Hour on one session, which I have taped, he was playing a nylon string guitar other than an Ovation.
