Well Lee is the owner.I am the admirer. We just bought a new Ovation Celebrity this week(celebrity deluxe cs257) we got a really good deal on it.My husband has always liked the Ovations. This one is made in Korea. We were wondering how 'good' these Korean made guitars are.Lee says that it feels real comfortable. The sound is clear. The guitar itself is a work of art to behold.(Ruby burst)...I dont play myself but I love the way it sounds.Any info would be really appreciated. The guy at the music store wasnt much help in giving us any info about it.

Congrats!

If you go to the "WELCOME" line on the menu, then click on the ovation.com link, you can get the specs on your guitar. I was just playing a Ruby Burst CS257 a couple of days ago. They are pretty, and easy to play. I'm seriously thinking about making the CS257 next in my collection (unless I can find an Elite Echeap!).

Norse(not a whole lot of sound unplugged, but the CS257's sing when plugged in!)man1

There is nothing wrong with the korean gitters, they're just cheaper than the US made ones. The materials and parts are different and construction methods also slightly different. A good starting point.
