Lonnie Donnegan

"Rock Island Line", "It Takes A Worried Man", "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose It's Flavor On The Bedpost Overnight" (and various other "skiffle" gems).

Rest In Peace.

Yes, he will be missed. We have to appreciate all of our artists, as mortality is a human condition as we keep getting reminded. Somebody did the chewing gum song as "Does the Spearmint Lose its Flavor on the Bedpost Overnight". Lonnie Donnegan exposed a lot of people to some old folk songs and in a way started a movement.
