Location: Michigan | I just bought one, paid through paypal & got a confirmation of shippment but says it may take a day or to longer as being shipped from manufacturer. They will then be able to get me a tracking #
Anybody ever get one drop shipped from Ovation ?
Are they pretty quick about it ?
It was one of those impulse e-bay things where you think you will never get it for that & you win the auction. I don't regret the purchase other than the fact, I just picked up the exact same guitar last saturday, even the same color.
I guess I'll wait for this one, play it against the other and then have to peddle one.

Location: Utah | My 2007 Collector's Edition was shipped from the factory, bought from Al. It took about a week total from credit card being charged to the guitar arriving on the doorstep. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I had my Tak EF75 drop shipped from the factory. No problems. No differences whatsoever. If anything, they have regular shipment services so you're not waiting for some private party to make a special trip to the shipper. |

I think the "drop shipped from manufacturer" is a BS standard message they're sending. The only way it could be drop shipped from Ovation is if it was a new guitar. This is obviously not a new guitar for that price. I didn't see it mentioned anywhere in the ad that it was new either. |

The shipper is Fedex, I got the tracking number & checked, looks to me like its coming AR & not CT.
To make matters worse, its going to the wrong city. This happeded to me before, fat finger the last 2 numbers on the zip code. Contacted Fedex & they said I can't cange it only the shipper, I sent them an e-mail, we will see, otherwise I have to pick up up at the terminal.
Oh yeah, I was skeptical of being new as it didn't say. I called & they said "new" nothing in the auction so probably nothing I can do about it if its not.
Damon I agree, thats why I was surprised I won the auction, didn't even say "no reserve" but I sure figured it would go more, been watching this model for months & just paid more for a mint used one, but hey for the price shouldn't have to take a bath on it.
I'll let you know when it does arrive

Location: big island | my 2078T was purchased through another prominent eBay seller but shipped to me directly from new hartford. got it in four days after the purchase shipped USPS priority. i have done business with this seller, sigler music also. they are top-notch!
