For the most part, it's all the "ice cream" analogy - whatever is YOUR particular favorite. My favorite "flavor" happens to be D'Addario Phosphor Bronze. Welcome!

They are the brightest srings I have ever heard. They seem to last a long while as well. I do think they are rather pricy ($11.99) but they are worth it. --Mike

And I'm buying 'em at either local shops or Guitar Center! I'd shop around, cause you should DEFINITELY be able to get them cheaper than THAT! Again, do a "search", cause there were a lot of posts with suggestions for online sources with really good prices. (I usually buy them at the shops just so that I have an excuse to stop in and look around.)

I would be willing to give you something for the strings beyond the shipping cost Paul. The reason I ask is that my new Ovation was shipped with what appear to be D'Addario's. (Has the different coloured ends) I thought Ovation would fit their own strings. Personally I use Martin SP strings.
