Hi Guys, I have a chance to buy one of these tomorrow. It has a top crack (finish only) but otherwise is in new condition, no case. Any ideas on what I should offer?

I'm not really a mando player yet...I just wanted something inexpensive until I see if I am going to keep at it.

Most of the Applause & Celeb mandos I've seen have had the same pickups & electronics as the USA versions so they're pretty good in that respect, but they're nowhere near as good acoustically. I've seen the Applause version go for less than $150 on ebay which is about what they're worth.

The USA has a solid top. The applesause has ply so a finish crack is nothing. If you want something to noodle with it's fine but the US will have the sssssouuuuuuuuuund.
