Location: Linköping Sweden | I´m a happy owner to a Glen Campbell model 1627 (1979). I think it's been lying in the case since then, cause it looks brand new. I even found the Owner's manual in the case. I paid about $350, and I believe thats a pretty good deal isn't it?
It would be great if someone could give me some more info on this guitar.
Today I've come across 3 more Ovation guitars that I'm interested in, but I don't know much about the models. Can someone help me please?
The model's are:
1613 serial.no 289379 (1982)
1615 225711 (1981)
1617 276675 (1982)
The guy wants about $1800 for all three guitars.
Is that a fair price?
Would like some more info on these guitars too. |

Location: SoCal | This is off the top of my head, but I think that the first guitar is a Country Classic (?). The second and third guitarss are a Pacemaker 12 string and a Legend. All are acoustic electric.
In the current market, $1800 is too much for all three. They are worth, on the open market, $1000 - $1200 together. |

cost was $2365, so Paul is about right on with his estimate. ;) |

Location: Linköping Sweden | Are these "good" models (all 4 I mentioned)?
There are so many Ovation models out there, and I guess some of them are more rare to find.
Someone told me that my Glen Campbell was one of the "top" models, and that I should be careful with it. Not a party guitar in other words..
Is he right?
Which are lets say the top 10 models?
Does the age (of the guitar...) matter,
I mean is a guitar from 1978 "better" than one
from 1987?
I wanna become an Ovation expert, educate me... |

Location: 6 String Ranch | They are all "good" guitars. If you want a "party" guitar get one of the nonUS made ones. But then again, there is something to be said for partying with the best........ |
