My son's a freshman in High school. One of his elective classes is beginning guitar, So as much as he practiced, it warranted buying him a new Ovation for Christmas. It is a Balladeer S771. So on monday the 6th he took it to class with him. He started to play it for 10 minutes, the teacher heard him, walked over, took it and played with it the rest of class and said it was "sweet". I guess we made a good choice in choosing which brand of guitar to buy.

Just tell me you're not planning on sueing the school for depriving your son of his guitar!

No I'm not going to sue. I just wish I could have seen the teacher turn green with envy.

I don't doubt it. I've played an S771 next to a Taylor 5 series and it put the Taylor to shame.

Keith,
just for clarification, the S771 is not a celebrity. It is made in Connecticut. It is sweet! What a lucky son you have.

He called it a Balladeer S771 in the message I read. Or am I seeing things?
