What staying power for a band.
They were the best IMHO. GWB |

With The Beatles
Rubber Soul
Sgt Pepper
Abbey Road
Each represent a major shift in the band's evolution.
There are also certain songs that are favorites such as If I Fell, I Don't Want To Spoil The Party, No Reply, I Will, etc.
But my favorite Beatles song will always be I Saw Her Standing There. If you crank that song, it is sheer joy from the opening count-in to the final ringing E7 chord. |

They fall in between the early "British Invasion" stuff and the later psychedelic stuff. |

I'm with you on those three and the reasoning. Earlier I said "Rubber Soul" which still holds true. But these would be the ones that I'd grab for my greatest listening enjoyment.
I will say that some of their subsequent material have some very sophisticated arrangements that are remarkable. But album wise, "RS" for me!
There are too many favorite songs for me to select just one... |

Anthology 1 --- To listen how they were when they began. |
