It's a sad state of affairs when you gotta go to the german distributors site to get a look at the 2003 Collectors Edition. (Nice looking, by the way, but it makes my head hurt trying to figure out all the german words). The Ovation site doesn't look to have been updated since June. C'mon ... welcome to the new millenium ... get plugged in ... any new player you want to sell a guitar to is going to hit your website. We've already established that it's damn near impossible to get a look and touch at a USA Ovation, so your website needs to be where it happens. It's not that hard ... you can outsource the update work for a few grand a month. Hell, there's probably fifty members on this board who could do it ...

I can't believe there's an online translator actualy called "Babelfish" I'm sure Douglas Adams, if he were still with us, would be honoured, if not attempting to claim a royalty. http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/hitchhikers/guide/babelfish.shtml

The new Collectors 2003 introduces itself. That now 29. Model of this exclusive series becomes it only in strictly limited edition gebeben. Substantial innovation are the Epauletten from geriegeltem walnuss-Holz, inserted now into the cover. The cover is from solid Sitka spruce in AA quality. The being thing is in the multi-wood Design and locks with an external situation Tortoise. To 12. Federation is filigrane an insert of the Collectors Logos. On the electroacoustic side the Collectors with the proven combination comes from Op-40 Preamp and High z Pickup. The noncommittal price recommendation becomes with approx.. 2,695.00 euro lie and starting from fair Frankfurt (March) available its. Having lived there for a year, I can assure you German is indeed a wacky language to get your head around. :D

If the Celeb is a solid spruce top, it may be a much better deal. I hate saying this. The Celebrity line should be a lesser line.

The best documentaries are all tied to the BBC in some way. I now get BBC America in Arizona and watch ‘Coupling’. Now that’s funny. I’m glad were not paying EURO prices for Ovations though. I always look at the UK site first. It’s in English it has the best pictures and links. Then I try the DE site it’s the coolest. Then US site. I think people have taken so many shots at it for so long that Ovation is going to bring it into the 21 century shortly. By the way, on ebay, I think I like the Adamas 5181 for $900 more than the 2003 LTD for $1500. I guess I’m a cheep old guy that that likes old cheep guitars.
