I think a billboard in San Francisco Bay that could see from The Fillmore would be appropriate.

Hey Al,

Beautiful Guitar! But as far as the Alpep signature model goes, sorry Charlie, haven't you been watching American Idol?! Image my friend is everything nowdays(what a joke!). From what I've read at the underground "Let's rip on Al" website, you just don't have that Backstreet Boy look bud ;) .

Mike, thank you for that most encouraging welcome. As you can imagine, Kaki and I talked by phone last night about the terrific response from the members about my posting that she had become a company endorsee. She said that the company has already invited her and her manager to visit the factory, and that the exact date and time would be agreed on soon. So, keep your eye on the company bulletin board, and hopefully you'll have a chance to meet her in person.

I had to laugh when I read that she "might have to hire me as a publicist." Judging by the creativity involved in the "billboard" Mike Bross designed in his posting on this thread, she'd do much better with him handling the publicity!

Thanks again--

Dave King

I would like to extend congratulations to Ovation for acquiring HER as an endorsee...people like Kaki, real players, are exactly who the company needs to have playing, and being seen with, these great guitars.

It just seems like such a natural seamless fit - the company that grew from innovation partnering with innovative players. More Kaki, please.

Out on a limb here - don't try to get Creed to play Ovations in order to move product, find more people like Kaki that are unique and then promote that creativity.

Trust that the word will get out. Make the best instruments you can. Try new things. Don't limit your thought process. Approach guitar-making with the same creative zeal that the best players have when they play.

We will be waiting.
