Location: Phoenix AZ		I prefer the older style gloss finished necks and headstocks over the current trend of 'satin' finish. Just my personal preference. Was wondering if anyone on this board had sent a satin guitar back to the factory and had them gloss the neck and headstock. Any ideas about approx. cost? Do they remove the neck from the guitar to do it? Dave

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana		Hey Dave, I too much prefer the older gloss finish on necks. I can't seem to get use to this satin finish stuff. Kinda makes me wonder if the satin finish is a cost cutting feature. These necks just don't seem completely finished to me...Paul Hebert
