I just had to replace the one I sold. I've missed it ever since.

Way to go, Miles. I would've scooped it but I'm saving my pennies for a Deacon 12 string. Anybody have one out there? Please???

Hey all, I'm new. Yep. First post. I came here actually after I ran across that eBay ad for the GP, wanting to know more about it.

I'm currently the proud owner of a Preacher, in near-mint condition that I picked up on eBay for $320 December 2001. Had it set up by a guitar tech and now it plays like a dream, except she responds poorly to humidity and the action has had to be reset twice over the year (once in the summer and once in the winter)

Anyhow, I'm trying to find out as much on the GPs as possible as that's definitely going to be my next project. Something tells me that this will be a long, involved, and expensive project. Any help would be invaluable of course!

Thanks and I hope to be a valuable addition to the group!

Bill :)

Welcome Bill! Since I have not much else to do with my time I know a bit about the GP's (as do some other members). While I don't claim to be an expert I'll do my best to answer any questions you might have. Also I may have a GP for sale if you're interested.

I might be interested in a GP if the price is right :) The $1,100 "Buy it now!" price was a little rich for my blood at the moment. I've got a substantial tax return coming but would like to have some of it left after the purchase.

Is it the wine colored one? *drool!!!*
