Location: Tennessee | Hey all, I saw Kaki King in SF last night and she was awesome. She's got something you've gotta see live to believe. The crowd really got into it, too. All the incredible sound came from her blue Adamas!
I can only describe her as a prodigy. She seems so young (sheesh ... I have a daughter nearly the same age), but had a really good stage presence, and the music ... well, all I can say is make sure you go see her when she comes through your town. But be warned ... you'll have thoughts that you're not worthy of ever picking up your guitar again.
popcritic was a proud papa (with every right to be), and was kind enough to introduce me and my wife to Kaki. Thanks for the cold one, Dave. I hope to return the favor one day soon. |

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana | Stonebobbo, did you get a copy of her CD? Her father sent me a copy awhile back. I really like it. The CD really shows her style, and how good a well recorded Adamas can sound. I was jammin to it today!...Paul Hebert |

Location: Zion, Illinois | I don't have the CD but I heard 3 mp3's of her's last night. Stonebobbo is correct, I dont' feel worthy of picking my guitar up anymore.
Good thing I play for my enjoyment only or I'ld dump my collection.

Location: Tennessee | Yes, I was able to get a copy of her cd (as good as it is ... you gotta see her live to appreciate what she does!). I tried to play in her style last night ... as the boys on the other coast would say ... fugeddabowdit. |

Location: atlanta | Stonebobbo, it was good to meet you and your wife at Kaki's Fillmore appearance. She felt it went very well and really appreciated the crowd's enthusiastic response.
I've just posted a photo of Kaki and her new guitar on the Fillmore stage in the Members Beta Photo Gallery.
Finest regards--
