Best price I can find anywhere on a W597 is $1593 so it is an actractive price. But exactly what does "Ovation FRG Guitar" imply?
I also mentions a "special" 5 year warranty. I thought it was a lifetime warranty. Has any one else had experience with FRG?

| I suspect it’s a factory recondition guitar or export model. What I can say for sure is the guitar in the photograph is not the guitar in the description. A 2003 guitar would not have the old Optima preamp. The pictures are of a 2000 or early 2001 Adamas CTV. The giveaway is that Ovation quietly made a running production change in late 2001 and did away with all the Adamas I ‘angle wing’ epaulets. By 2002 all Ovation guitars with the multi sound hole design were shipped with the standard Elite epaulets. The only exception to this is the Viper.

Location: NJ | factory reconditioned means that it has some flaw and it was fixed.
the warranty is wrong though it is not 5 years but 2 years from what I understand. |
