Location: SE Michigan | Thanks cms-man, just snagged a DS768 on-line and the only thing I can find in the catalogs is the DS778. The deeper the bowl the better, so I'm happy. Thanks again. |

Location: SE Michigan | Yes, I picked it up off EBAY. It had a "buy it now" option for $749, and about 10 people had already bid on it, and the bid was already over $400 with 3 days left. I figured it would never last the whole auction, and even if it did the seller's reserve was probably at least $700. I really wanted one of these and they are very hard to find used. New they go new (discounted) for about $1400.
The guitar is new as in never sold and has been hanging around a music store for awhile, but the seller gives it a 9.5 out of 10. It also has the older style preamp. He sent me additional pictures and it looks mint. Also comes with the Ovation hardshell case.
So it seemed like a no-brainer, I clicked the "buy it now" button and it should be here Friday. I can't wait |
