Let's have some fun with this. One sentence answers only, please.

You are sentenced to spend the rest of your life on a deserted island. Which ONE acoustic guitar that you ALREADY OWN would you take with you.

Dave

PS - A/E, electrics, basses etc. are fair game, but you don't have any amp on the island.

My 1981 model 1687 Adamas. Goes almost everywhere I go now. Plus on the island, I won't have to worry about the top finish cracks. (lol)

Well

I would cheat, I would float in on my Yamaki guitar with my two mandolins as outriggers. I would announce in some press a free concert by Mettalica so a bridge would be built to the island, and I would have Al directing traffic and throwing cold water on the French terrorists.

Then we would have a bluegrass concert, featuring me on the above mentioned instruments that I sneaked in.

Thanks to the support I received from this board, I have owned my Adamas II 12-string 1685-7 for a week now. I cannot put this thing down !!! This is my island guitar. My big gut is waging war with the deep bowl (do they make a reverse-bowl for guys like me?).

(Because I know of at LEAST three guys here who would scrape together SOME way of trying to get to it.
Then I'd have "company" ;) )

Adamas II 1881-NB5. Knowing that I have it with me, my greedy relatives wouldn't give up searching! ;)

I'd have to take my Fender. That way, my Legend and Balladeer could live on through my kids ;)

It would have to be my Balladeer. Although an Adamas or a nice 12 string would be my choice if I had either one. :D

I'll take a doubleneck made with my Adamas CVT and my Balladeer 12 string, bound together with duct tape. That's not cheating, right??? :D

I'd take that one we saw disguised as a desk that we revealed was a prototype of next year's collector's model; it was big enough for me and my native woman, (there has to be a native woman in a short grass skirt, with big bare size 40 hooters costume) to escape the island and make our way to Puerta Vallarta, where Russ will insist that I try out every one of his Ovations as he spends hours questioning the native woman about our sailing trip; of course, if it is an Atlantic island, I'll head for Florida and CKII will do the same.

bailey, stop and pick up bill then around the horn (the canal is for wimps) and when you get to 20 north listen for that "O" sound and you've arrived. tuck a mando in your sweeties cleavage and we'll put you to work.

if it rained like it did last night you can bring your skiff right to my gate. NO SHIT!!

11" in 24 hrs.
