Location: blkyn usa | Apropos of a previous post wherein one of the members toured guitar shops in NYC and DC, I'm going to be in China and will be passing thru Hong Kong and Shenzun (I'll mostly be in Hainan) anyhow, do you guys know of any guitar stores in Hong Kong/Shenzun, or the Hong Kong equivalent of 48th street? Kinda wish I was going thru Haiwaii but that's another trip. Thanks for any tips. Also, anything I should check out while I'm there. I set up this screen name because I couldn't get the one from work to work.
Thanks |

Location: So. Cal. | an4340, have you been to HK before? Most of the smaller shops will not stock any medium to high end guitars. If they did, you won't be able to touch them!
Tom Lee is about the only place worth going. The address Miles gave you has a full stock of Martin/Ovation/Taylor. You can spend a whole afternoon there. I still do everytime I go. In fact, I'll be passing by the end of this month. When you are going to be there? If my memory serves me, there is also one member (jesse) on this board that lives in HK. Why don't you hook up with him too?

Location: blkyn usa | I'll definitely check out Mr. Lee's and his selection of ovations. (and his applause ukes!) However, we have to do some family stuff so my schedule is evolving re:HK. This board is so cool, it proves what they say about 6 degrees of separation ... the world really is a small place.
