Well both Tim and I caught a couple of sand sharks each. We got to watch the sun sink into the delaware bay. and had a great time.
I need to do this more often. It was most relaxing watching the water even if we did not catch anything.
the best part was on the ride home when Tim said "hey uncle Al, when can we do this again"
NOT SOON ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!! |

Did you by chance check out Wallace's Whaler's Cove?
Great little outdoor restaurant/bar right on the Bay. Mostly locals, not a lot of tourists. Good food, good drinks, decent prices, outdoor music, and everybody applauds when the sun sets over the water.
Kind of a scaled-down, Jersey version of Mallory Square in Key West.
When I used to live down there, my daughter (who was 4 at the time) and I would rush down to the Bay EVERY evening after dinner to watch the sun go down.
Great place to live!
(til Winter sets in). |

You lived in cape may???? My wife will hate you.
Do you remember "the shire" I saw so many great bands there. spent much time drinking and eating pizza on the free pizza nights. Some of the best times were spent off season when no one was around.
I will have to check out Wallace's |

One of my favorite acts there was Tim Eyermann and East Coast Offering. PHENOMENAL sax/woodwind player! (he hailed from Miles' neck of the woods & made Sanbourn look like a hack!).
I'll e-mail you directions to Whaler's Cove. |
