Location: Virginia Beach, VA | I bought a 12 string O with numbers 310396 and 1656 inside. It is brown back wood top with inlay around the round hole and gold string nuts? Any insight would be appreciated. Sincerely, Oshaniee |

Thanks Dave, Rookie here. The O sounds great, just about plays itself. Is Anniversary ed. good or bad. The only thing i dislike. is the 9v is held in place with a set screw and I have to losen 4 strings to change it. If you leave it wired up the battery is toast pretty quick. Oshaniee |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Hi. I'm not 100% sure of your model, but the Anniversary 12 string would be my best guess. Posting a picture would help identify it for sure. Yes that is a nice guitar, I think similar to the Legend 12 string. I know what you mean about the battery holder being a hastle to deal with. One one of mine I have gotten rid of the screw and just have a big strong piece of velcro that attachs the battery holder to the inside of the bowl. Make sure you unplug the cable from your guitar when not using it. Doing so cuts the power drain from the battery. If it's plugged in you are still powering the pre-amp even though you are not using it. Dave |

Location: UK | Model 1656 is the DeLuxe Legend with Deep Bowl built from 1982-93. Your serial number is 1985-86 so it sounds about right.
Nice guitar!! |
