Location: Central Oregon | I've never heard anything like this before. The CD connected to the net & showed me video clips of her playing. I've never seen anything like this before either. Her music is indescribable, but I like it. I would certainly never try to play it, I don't think another person in the world could play her music. It seems to me to be a whole new way to make music with a guitar. Very interesting to watch & strangely beautiful to listen to. Certainly no one could ever say that she doesn't approach playing a guitar from every conceivable direction.

P.S. Also I couldn't help but think I should get a K.K. CD for my dentist, this music would go really *great* with nitrous oxide! |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | I bought Kaki's CD 3 weeks ago after reading the recommendations from here and the articles on her in the guitar magazines; I have enjoyed it many times since then. It is a unique sound; it should give hope to anyone who thinks that there are no new ways to play a guitar, and that it is impossible to define a new style!!!! |

Location: Central Oregon | Yes! That's what I was trying to say. I've had 6 people listen to &/or watch the clip on this CD & every one of them had the same reaction-can't explain it, can't describe it, but we all like it.
Remarkable.

P.S. I've decided to take the CD with me next time I go to the dentist. I'm almost sure Max will play it. He usually has pretty cool music that goes well with nitrous anyway. This is better. |

Location: Netherlands | Dave, I got her CD finally, had to import it, 'cause AFAIK it's not (yet?) available in Europe. I was stunned. I know the tapping technique, tried to practice it when I was trying to become Joe Satriani II years back, but I was unaware that this technique could be applied to acoustics and even better than Satriani could.
At first I had to get used to the music, but after listening the CD a few times it really got under my skin.
Great CD.
