| I have a Tornado, serial no. A 020. Used to be a tremolo model but I've never had the whammy arm. And, when I took it to the "spa" this summer, the tailpiece broke, so the guy replaced it with a Bigsby. (Still no arm, though)
I've had this thing for 18 years, Bought it and a Peavey Studio Pro amp for a total of $225. Great warm sound, but it sounds great with some edge, too.
Anybody seen a lower serial. The guys at Ovation suggested I ask here. |

| Thanks, Paul, but it's not stock anymore. I had the repair guy put on new tuning machines. He had to fill some holes but the thing stays in tune now.
How many of these did Ovation make? |

Location: Las Cruces, NM | Just watched the Carpenters Special on PBS again tonight, and the Ovation I got a fleeting look at during their early 70's was a 6 string hollow body, had to be part of the Storm series.
