Is the Hamer Centaura a good guitar? I may be able to buy one for a seemingly good price (<200 dollars).

Al is right. $200 is a great price for a USA Centaura, but not a good deal on the import.

The Centaura is a well made shredder with a very fast neck and good electronics.
