it's a long story but I was in small claims court against a paid but undelivered Adamas guitar. This ordeal cost me a bunch of cash and time and hopefully, the judgement will come down in my favor. (defendant was a no show and no one was surprised)

anyway, I would have never got there if it was not for the help and generosity of two members of this board that went out of their way to help me, spent time out of their day and never asked for a dime from me. I don't want to mention those individuals by name for fear that they will be flooded with requests for "favors" but I did want to acknowledge them.

Thanks guys, without your efforts I would have never got there.

On so many levels, this OFC Group has been a true Blessing.

In times like these, honest, caring and helpful friends are a breath of fresh air!

Good luck Al.

And it is a "strange" group that hangs around this board. Like old High School friends...
You never met.

I think some of us would be happy, if you gave us the guy's address, to head over to the house and get photo's of your Ovation being played by your dissatisfied customer! Let me know if he is anywhere in Upstate NY!

Randy Lovin that Adamas I got from Al!

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but judgement is one thing... collection is another. The good thing is when there is a judgement, collection eventually follows...

"Cement Shoes" . . .
Egad!!
That's just so-o-o-o-o-o-o "60's"
(besides it's bad for the environment)

There are more "tasteful" ways of disposing of . . . . . . "problems" such as this.

A Friendly "Tip":

If I wuz you, I wouldn't order any "carpaccio" in any Hoboken restaurants for the next . . oh, . . . week and a half ;)

I'd try to get on People's Court or Judge Judy - they pay for the costs and the "defendant" gets the exposure that they deserve!

I am happy with a default judgement. Getting it executed is another story, but I am very grateful for the efforts of the two individuals for their help. otherwise I would not even have gotten this far.

Whoever is sappy enough to spend time helping Al, geez, they need to get a life. The best way to help Al would be to buy him some new shirts so he can retire his mauve shirt!

Al,

What size T-shirt do you wear? I'll send you a Riggers and Crane Operators of PSNS Official T. Nobody will mess with you.

It's in black, so it goes with everything. Mine doesn't make my butt look big.

It's not the shirt, anyway.

If I ever get to Hawaii I will be sure NOT to buy any shirts. It would be a mess having people mistake us for brothers.

Al,

If you get the Windowpane from Phil, all your shirts will look like Hawaiian shirts! (at least to you!)

Al

I wish you the best from your court appearance, but one warning, appearing in any of the type shirts described hear is likely to get you 10 to life for violating all known laws of decent apparrel, you might get the hot seat if any of these other fashion felons appear with you.

Just a warning, don't mess wit de judge!!
