Had a strange problem on my New adamas this morning, used the tuner but my sound wouldnt come back either manually or after a minute. Tried a new battery no luck, switched cables problem solved!. This monster Jazz cable(50$!!!!) fits very tightly in the plug, too tight I think. Its also tight in my L7. I have an Excalibur cable that is not tight at all, feels just right. Is this a problem with monster cables? Is the plug in my adamas a high quality one? Should I replace it? Any suggestions for quality cables? I dont think Im impressed with monster!!! Dont like the noisy mic cable connecter, wish it worked better.
This is a great box for Jazz and in church. My little AER amp sound great with it
Thanks for any feed back , great group!

I never heard of this problem with ovations. I have heard of jack problems with other guitars.

call customer service ask John or Kim if they heard of anyone with the same experience.

Use GeorgeL's .225 cable (not the skinny stuff).

By far, its the lowest capacitance and quietest stuff out there....and you fix it with you leatherman in about 30 seconds, should it fail.
