I had ordered a black one because they were cheaper because he got a better deal on them. But when I got it the finish around the soundhole was defective, so I sent it back. He checked it out and said all 3 that he has there is like that. So he offered to send a Cherry. WOW! I really wanted the cherry to begin with. It finally came today. WOW! It sound incredible unplugged. Just got back from praise team practice. Oh my!!!! Incredible does not give the plugged in tone justice. But I don't know what other word could come as close. If I knew how I would post some pictures, but it looks just like the one on the ovation site. Another happy LX owner. I just wish I had more money to buy a Elite LX. Maybe someday. Later, Bill

If not, my 6778LX or 1778T will do, I'm sure. I sold my Martin and a Washburn I had to get another Ovation, and found a great deal on the Legend at massmusic.com. Now I have a little cash left over. hmmm....

The PA system is huge, and I can get the clearest acoustic sound plugged in our of the Legend LX. This guitar is awesome, well I don't have to tell you guys that. Congrats on getting your LX. I can assure you the more you play it the more you will love it. :D

I can imagine it was tough going through the waiting and having to ship one back. But hey, a year from now you'll be playing a beautiful cherry guitar and it won't really matter that you had a setback. Best wishes!!

Tommy I run mine right to the board, well I do use a Danelectro Cool Cat chorus, but then right to a DI box and strait to the board. They use Bose speakers. I am not sure of the moniters. I don't know what amps they use either. I only use the chorus for slow picking songs. For strumming I normally just go strait. I asked the sound guy tonight how he set the eq, he said flat. I had the eq on the guitar flat. No need to tweek anything. The neck is nice. I prefer a little more V to it, but I like it. I find baring chords easier on it. I like how it "fills" my hand some more than others. Bill
