Joined: August 2003 Posts: 2246 Location: Yucaipa, California | I have a Boss Chorus pedal that is "ok" but doesn't give that nice lush feel, nor does it give the various "room/hall" echos.... What are the recommendations from da board? I want deep, adjustable chorus with deep adjustable echo in a small package..... thanks

The chorus is good, but I don't think it is as good or lush as the one on my Boss Chorus pedal. I have been thinking about upgrading to the AD-8, but it doesn't seem to have a chorus on it.

The other thing is that the AD5 uses a dual chorus effect where the higher and lower frequencies are chorused differently, this really helps the cause when used in stereo. Personally I'm totally bored with chorus & rarely use it. If you feel you must use another chorus unit with the AD5 patch it in via the ad5's FX insert point rather than plugging the guitar into the pedal then into the AD5
