Hey,

Traded Al P. my Adamas 1597 SMT (ruby) for his Custom Legend 1869-5 with the OP-50. Hopefully, it will show up in the very near future. Loved the SMT which I got from Tony C. but also got an 1127-4 Glen Campbell Artist and a 4861 from Tony and became an immediate and huge fan of the shallow body. The shallow body for my money can't be beat. It may not have quite the lower end that the deep bowl possesses, but it makes up for it in the midrange and trebles. This is a great instrument to solo on, or play rhythm on. It's also amazingly comfortable. If you need a little more bottom, plug it in.

Question: Is the neck on the 1869 more like that of the Glen Campbell Artist, or more like the 4861?

Thanks,
Jon Van Gilder

Over time they all vary so you'll have to see when it arrives. I would guess it's more like the 1869 but I'm not sure.
