Location: Copenhagen Denmark | Gregg , a cherished member from OMAHA will be heading your way , to get a guitar " PLEK `ed " ( I can n`t wait to hear his verdict on that ), so , that`s one more , now , I`ve never been to Chicago , but ( from heresay ) , there seems to be a street filled with Blues Players , ..as it is , yer and Jeff`s music seem to be influenced by Spanish style ( do I dare say Flamenco ? ) , perhaps I need to be taught a new what Jazz is all about... :)

Location: Chicago | Well... take Corea's Spain: it is based on Rodrigo's melody from the Concerto de Aranjuez, which is drawn from popular music akin to flamenco. It has that "Spanish" sound. Chick fits a nice snappy jazz line to it along with a beautiful and easy chord progression. We play it at every gig and improvise our butts off. I think that is the essence of the jazz spirit: playing over chord changes, swinging where possible. We also have lots of fun with Horace Silver, with Take Five; we've played Wes Montgomery's "Four on Six" and Ornette Coleman's "Blues Connotation"; So you see: what the "advertisement" on our page says is really the confusing truth:
"We are a Chicago-based trio specializing in exotic yet accessible acoustic music with a Mediterranean flavor. Our repertoire crosses over from contemporary jazz and flamenco to world music elements. A typical set list reflects the influence of virtuoso composers (Di Meola, Corea).
