Location: Massachusetts | I just have a plain nylon woven thingy guitar strap but the way the O sits against the body it cuts right into my neck. I move it left and it eventually still cuts into my neck same when I raise or lower it. No other guitars do this on me.
I would be interested to hear about the OFC strap. But does say a Planet Waves stay put on the shoulder and with the 3" pad protect my neck even if it slides that way?
I know Fender has some fancy highly padded strap made by another manufacturer who's orignal gets high remarks over at the FDP.
Any thoughts? |

Location: Capital District, NY, USA Minor Outlying Islands | I use Planet Waves Retro Classic "Blocks" strap for my country artist. Not only does it look cool, but it is extremely comfortable. Nice and soft, not like the typical webbed strap. I use dunlop 360 strap locks too. |

Location: NC | I have a 2.5" padded black leather from Dangerous Threads. They make straps out of Nashville, TN for a little known group called Aerosmith. Cost was I believe $39.00! Wonderful strap and does not cut into the neck. :) |

Location: NW NJ | I use the Neotech Super Axe Strap. Really nicely padded and has some neoprene in it to make the strap stretch a little. Comfortable doesn't begin to describe the feel. Only place I can find that sells it is the Friend, Here's a link:
