| I just watched some footage of Bob Marley playing his Adamas 1687-7. I also watched Nancy Wilson of Heart strum the living daylights out of her 1687-8 prototype. Forget Melissa Ethridge, NO ONE PLAYS AN ADAMAS LIKE NANCY!!!! I think she is the main reason why I have got to have that guitar. Bob sounded mighty fine as he was getting a much mellower sound of his Adamas. This guitar sounds like a Jack of all trades!!! I gotta have one!!!! |

Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada | P2PH, are you saying you gotta have an Adamas, period, or that you gotta have one of those particular Adamases? They don't make those models any longer, do they? In that case, I think you're going to have to start looking through Al's inventory. |

WWJP? Wouldn't need it! After you hear the trumpet all the rules will change anyway!
But while we are here - seeking great instruments to ply our craft is a better choice than many that I have made. Sharing my Ovations to inspire younger players at church has become a sort of ministry in its own. Encouragement to play well is easier with an instrument that plays well. The O's, A's and C's take this task on real well.
Al is the number one National source of in stock cool Adamas' and a great source for custom mades. I only wish the photos on his site were better and stealable! The carpet is not for sale! |

| Jesus would definitely play one!!!! After all, isn't He the Author of our desires to Praise Him!!!! No I don't have to have a slothead like Nancy's. I can play2praiseHim just as well with the standard headstock. But it has to be a 1687-7 or 1687-8 !!!!! I would prefer one of the Proto-types or a remake. Or even a standard hadstock from the 70's would be great!!! One of the best periods of music in my opinion. Gotta have that carving on the headstock and bridge!!! |
