Location: Boise, Idaho | I don't see any knobs for a preamp, but it could just be a bad picture. I assume you mean outputs, not inputs. |

Location: ILLINOIS | yes there where 2 outputs... sorry... also there was a knob for a preamp.. it was a "stacked"knob.. The only reason I remember that is because the top knob was cracked.. I have been trying to research and the only ovation I can find that had stereo outputs and was that dark in color was a 1651.. but most i have found where ether lighter in color or more of the nutmeg stain.. I remember that guitar being pritty dark in color like in the photo |

Location: Boise, Idaho | They were nutmeg, but the picture is old and might just show it darker than it really was. I can't think of another solid color they made back then that was any darker than the 1651, but I wasn't buying guitars back then. |

Location: South Carolina | Has anyone ever heard of a Model 1111-4, Series L227 ovation. I have one, but cannot find that model/series online anywhere. I bought it in 1974. |

Location: South Carolina | I know the serial number is L-227, but I looked on all of the ovation websites, and there is no mention of this serial number. As if it never existed? I wanted to see it listed somewhere. |

Most of the H, K and L series were electrics but they also used up a lot of the left over pre stamped labels on whatever was laying around. It obviously existed because you've got it. Enjoy it. |
